So excited! I’ll be speaking about #ImposterSyndrome next week for Latinas In Finance. Many people of color experience imposter syndrome but we don’t even know. Imposter syndrome, as I define it, is the belief that despite our successes, we don’t belong. It is the belief that what we have achieved has been pure luck or chance rather than because we earned it and worked our butts off to be where we are. It’s difficult to overcome these feelings of doubt when we are surrounded by people who don’t look like us and when we are first generation professionals, college students, etc. so grateful for the opportunity to share my story and to help other Latinx and people of color overcome their doubts.
