Event registration opened 9/19. We want to let you know that AVR 2020 is shaping up to be another great event. One new feature we are looking at implementing is an industry row in the back hallway. This will be an opportunity for students (HS and College) to talk to Aerospace Company Representatives about intern and future job opportunities. Still in planning phases, we will keep our community informed.

Apollo 11 took off at 6:32AM PT on July 16, 1969. As you hear a lot this week about the 50th anniversary of the Lunar Landing by Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Mike Collins. Did you know that Neil Armstrong lived and flew right here in the Antelope Valley as a test pilot for NASA Flight Research Center Center, now named the Neil A. Armstrong Flight Research Center. Also Mike Collins served as a fighter pilot and an experimental test pilot at the Air Force Flight Test Center, Edwards Air Force Base, California, from 1959 to 1963. The Aerospace Valley Regional will continue to honor the women & men that push the envelope everyday in Aviation and Space.
