Friends, check and change your oil! It happened again. Yesterday, a customer arrived at Autohaven complaining of an engine noise and check engine light. Her oil was four quarts low and hadn’t been checked or changed in over 10k miles. This car was less than 50 miles away from needing an $8,000 repair! ... At least *check* your oil level once every month or two (sooner if you have leaks). Or, if you’d rather, stop by Autohaven at any time and I will do it for you. 5 minutes is all it takes and I’d love to see your face and keep your car happy! People! CHECK AND CHANGE YOUR OIL! More and more I'm seeing premature engine failures, three this month! All because of very low oil and/or infrequent changes. $10,000 cars ruined for the sake of procrastination and $20 worth of oil. It's great for my business, but I like you guys! Please, don't do this to your cars and bank accounts.
