Three straight days of major down turn for bonds is bad news for mortgage backed securities / Rates, while this election has brought much excitement and fear, clearly the investors and stock markets have responded favorably to President Elect Trump by comparison to all the Naysayers (politicians) and populace as a whole. Time to see what is going to be done in our first days.

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING & LENDING PRACTICES- When it comes to Lending, if there is one thing I dislike more than anything else it's how Lenders still use Deceptive Lending Practices to reel borrowers in. Over the last several weeks, a radio ad has been playing from a Mortgage Company that states something to the effect of... "We are offering an interest rate so low, that even our Lawyers wont let us advertise it on the radio. It's complicated to explain, but give us a call so w...e can tell you how to Refi into a Fixed Rate with No Closing Cost". There is so many things wrong with this ad, where do I start! First of all, why can't they advertise their rates on the radio, why are they being so secretive that their Lawyers have to be involved?! I don't know about you, but anytime a Lawyer is involved in anything, it cost money, It takes a whole bunch of time and it's a complete headache! Next, they say the process is complicated to explain. If that's not a RED Flag I don't know what is! I have been doing Home Loans for 24 years and yes, getting a mortgage can be a complicated process, but it's also pretty basic too. Supply the laundry list of documents that the lender requires and if you fit into the program guidelines you get the loan, it's that simple. Who in their right mind would want to work with a company that adversities like this!? Come Refi with me because I have a rate so low that I legally can't advertise it on the radio and the process is so complication that it's going to take me an hour to explain over the phone, OKAY...SIGN ME UP...THIS SOUNDS GREAT, I'M ALL IN!!! I don't know who to be more mad at, the Lender for advertising such non-sense, or those who actually fall for gimmicks like this. That said, The process of getting a loan with me from start to close takes about 30 days. It's not complicated but you will be required to supply income, asset and credit documentation. I would love to work with you and assist you with your financing needs. If you select me as your Lender you will only work with me, no Lawyers involved, thank you!
