Don’t worry, be frappe! Culinary Services and the Engage Life Department did it again with this week’s Culinary Partnership Happy Hour. Grand Oaks’ two favorite baristas brought a little afternoon pick me up to the residents, and as you can see, they were all smiles! #atriatogether #spreadlovenotgerms

Every Wednesday, the Engage Life staff and Culinary Department collaborate to bring themed Happy Hour carts with snacks and drinks around to every residents room. This week they flashed back to the Totally Rad 80s with wine coolers, sloppy joe sliders, and more than a dash of neon!

Today’s Matinee Movie: Nights in Rodanthe Starring- Diane Lane and Richard Gere Engage Life staff here at Grand Oaks were more than excited to be able to open up our social distanced viewings in 2 locations of the building! #bekindalways

Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year, with a biblical name of Yom Teruah, was celebrated by residents’ through a weekly Shabbat service with the aid of a local Rabbi. Celebrating together with symbolic foods such as apples dipped in honey, Challah bread, and kosher wine/grape juice. #happyroshhashanah #happynewyear

We traveled back to the 1920s with our Prohibition Pub Happy hour cart this week! Residents and staff enjoyed dressing up, enjoying vintage drinks and snacks and had a roaring good time!

Let's Boogie! The Friday Happy Hour cart made its way through the community today with a unique touch. Staff donned tie-dyed shirts, flower crowns, and peace signs to help the residents get into the spirit!
