I have so many sessions from last year I need to start posting! I'm always really careful with what I post from late October to after Christmas, in fear of ruining a Christmas gift or even a Christmas card. Thankfully that leaves me with content to post during the slower times

It's a new week and this one has to be better than the last, right? I've been cautiously hopeful about this year, but 2021 seems to have a few of the same characteristics 2020 had, but you know what? It's okay, because I don't have to let that get to me. For some time there, I'd let myself get too worked up over things and while it's okay to do that every once in awhile, it can become a problem and I don't want to live my life stressed TF out over stuff. Mind over matter, always. I want to be a light for anyone that needs it and that takes hard work. I feel like getting lost in a forest today

It's been really strange figuring out who I am ever since losing my horse. I've been "the horse girl" for as long as I can remember and it's strange not having one anymore. My horse and I were best friends. Our relationship was more than just horse and human, we grew together and I can only hope one day to find that again in another horse. Getting another one isn't really on my radar yet. I need to process and heal before jumping into something - horses can't be rebounds lol. Thankfully, I had started back in riding lessons back in August and those are going really well. It's such a great work out and being out in the fresh air is such a welcomed thing lol Have you done something new recently? Tell me about it!
