ATC Day

We got through the heavy rains and some flooding, there are talks of opening the dunes up for camping and OHV use now that we are in Purple status ... or may have to wait to be in red. Remember that this decision is being made by the people you vote for ... like the governor and his cohorts. We will keep you informed if it opens up for more than just street legal vehicles. Wishing you all a wonderful day on three wheels.

Such an amazing day here ... OHV's including ATC's are still not allowed at the ODSVRA because these machines will cause the spread of the virus (being snarky) ... may everyone be well, full of happiness and joy during this amazing fall season enjoying a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving to all. A message from Andre the Giant ... no word yet on the opening of the dunes. Best guess is it will open when we can go to concerts and larger gatherings, hopefully by 01 AUG 2020. Fingers crossed.

No open date for the dunes yet. We will keep you informed. August is the first reservations on the site currently and 4th of July fireworks have been cancelled for Pismo. So.your guess is as good as ours. Once ODSVRA opens we will work on an event date, probably some time in the fall or next spring. So get them trikes dialed in and ready for some fun! Post your rides here on what you have, working on or what you are going to bring to the next event.

Since we have no opening date of the Oceano Dunes SVRA we are hold for the annual event. We will take a poll for the event once the park is reopened. For now be well and be safe, we will see you out in the dunes as soon as this is over!

What are you building for ATC day?

What are you all working on getting ready for the 3rd Annual ATC Day October 11-13th event? Post pics and updates!

Third Annual ATC Day ... many asked for it ... so we are delivering it! Better Weather and later in the year. So a standing date to keep it simple ... Second Weekend in October, Oceano Dunes SVRA! If it grows BIG enough we can add a second date! So for this year it would be October 11, 12 & 13th. Historically the best weather in Oceano is the first and second weekend in October. Not too hot, not too cold and not too windy.

2019 ATC Day ... When would you most likely come to the event?

So looking for some feedback. There’s been a few ideas being kicked around of moving the meetup to something like October when it isn’t so windy. Or maybe adding a second day later in the year. Another topic is possibly adding a second day at another park. However, we would be subject to enforcement of more rules (noise, spark arrestors, etc) versus the sand dunes. What are some thoughts?
