Happy Anniversary to us!!! Here we are, through it all, we are still here and growing. We lost a few clients and met plenty more. We struggled through 2020 just to grow twice as much during 2021. God is good! And so are our clients. Thank you for continuing to grow with us. We've gained new clients this year. So exciting to see our base grow. We gained the trust of many clients..thank you Karen and Tamara and the James family for trusting us with your events. We have worked ...with large companies repeatedly and have been mentored by some of the best in the industry. I am so grateful to James Marlowe of The MPC for hiring us and mentoring us and especially valuing what we do. I am so grateful to my friends and family and their contributions and support. I really honestly could not and would not want to do this without you. So what's new...we added Prestwick by Memphis and have gotten rave reviews. We have sold our sauce on the East Coast, Midwest, down South, up North..woo-hoo! Thanks Shannon and Gaby and Van for sticking with me and Kelia, Janice, Ann, and Tanya, Craig, and Leon for staying on me and reminding me why I do this. 2021 was great but 2022 is gonna be even better!

Holiday Tip: For a delicious juicy turkey consider an apple brine: Thaw your turkey starting Friday in your fridge, by Monday the bird should be thawed through...(I usually buy my turkey thawed from the butcher). When buying a turkey you plan on brining, make sure it has not been injected with salt or water. Sunday night or Monday morning make your brine. I do this early so the brine mixture is cold before I add the cold turkey. Monday clean your bird. I know I know the FD...A recommends you don't wash poultry...umm yeah, wash it and make sure to clean up afterwards..duh! Place your turkey and brine in a bucket that fits in your fridge and cover. Let your bird soak over night for 24 hours...no longer or it will be too salty. Tuesday, remove turkey from brine and discard the liquid, rinse the turkey and pat dry, season with a yummy roasted garlic herb butter inside and out. Place back in fridge uncovered so the skin can dry a little. This helps you get that nice crispy skin. Thursday morning cook your turkey.. I like to cook my turkey at a high temp, breast down for approximately 45 to 55 minutes, then I turn the oven down and let the bird cook according to its weight. The last 30 to 40 minutes I flip it so the breast can brown a bit more. For a great brine recipe message me. See more

Since Covid we haven't had many opportunities to cook. I am hoping this pandemic ends soon so we can get back to cooking and creating...going stir crazy over here! In the meantime I made dinner for my daughter and son in law. Maple Brine Pork Chops, pan seared and finished in the oven at 400. The high temp helps the chop cook without drying it out. We also had Butternut Squash Soup...okay I had Butternut Squash Soup...they wouldn't even try it. I guess if I had garnished it with bacon they would have. I thought it was delicious...and so did my grandbaby. I served the soup in a roasted Carnival Squash. Great starter for your Thanksgiving dinner. Message me for the recipes.
