Ya'll I reached goal for the first week in March which means I have two hours of services up for grabs. One has already been scooped up by a doula. Got keep them catching hands here and ready. February's Numbers: (2) 60 mins as gift certificates for a local kink community fundraiser and The Pacific Center. (8) hours in tithes and gratitude (8) hours in trade with artists, healers and local growers for that canna salve y'all love... In addition to this with the kind help of supporters outside of multiple marginalized community I was able to provide another (9)hours to Black and Brown Fam & QT Black and Brown Fam through the community care program That is a total of 18 anti capitalist hours of labor equal to $1,440 of services personally put back into under-served QT & QT Black & Brown community In additional to the 9hrs or $720 of Community Care support for QT & QT Black & Brown community Thank you for helping me do this work!!! I'm extremely good at what I do with regard to massage, readings and ritual creation. I have worked with people in intense situations. My craft is heavily informed by over a decade of holding space for those heavily impacted by trauma and moving towards healing. I work with the dying, with those about to give birth, people in moving through grief and embracing joy. I work with those of us society deems to be unworthy of love or touch. This is my souls purpose and I take it seriously. I specialize in those who have an aversion to touch and those who live devoid of touch. I have a table and travel to the homebound. This is holy work and there are many people who have had the space to sort through some deep shit on my table and it has been a privileged to hold that space for them both in massage and ritual creation. Giving Tuesday is almost over and I've just found the nerve to repost this ask. First Thank You to everyone who has donated so far. I was able to pay rent and get some items that I needed. Because of your generosity I was also able to tithe back into the community a 2 hour Ritual Creation Session and a few 1hr massages to marginalized community in need.... I still have a ways to go to get this up and running. My BIG GOAL for this BIG ASK is this Reopen ASE in an accessible space that can support multiple multiple Queer/Trans Black & Brown practitioners. These practitioners will offer a range of healing modalities and be united in a singular cause. Providing physical, emotional and spiritual support to the most vulnerable of us at rates that also allow access to those of lower economic status. This has to be done in a sustainable way for the practitioners as well. We must include ourselves in our own healing practice. Those who have been to A Sovereign Embodiment before know how we operate. I want to grow on that and make a solid foundation for it to grow beyond me. Not only do we often come face to face with our own family and intergenerational traumas we also have to deal with #respectabilitypolitics, capitalism, colonialism and their damaging effects. It can be soul level exhausting. *Take breaks when you can... *Rest as much as possible *Setup your phone/text support team *Write a list of things you love about yourself and keep it on your person *Meditate *Scream And remember that #YouAreASovereignEmbodiment you are of them but you are not them.
