A tradition of Ask Media Group is our volunteer day, and today we provided some manual labor help at the Oakland Zoo (shoveling sand and mulch, fixing fences, etc.). Our reward: a little face time with some of the residents!

We had an inspirational and rewarding experience attending the Hackbright Academy student demos, followed the next day by leading a whiteboarding workshop hosted at our office to help prepare graduates for technical interviews. Thanks to the good folks at Hackbright, and most of all to the amazing students in the #Oakland cohort. #ChangeTheRatio!

We love our interns! Nadia Aquil and Jun Seo Park knocked it out of the park this summer, doing valuable work that combined data science and software engineering.
