A virtual health fair hosted by the Asian Pacific Health Corps (APHC) at UCLA. The event is on Saturday, May 8th from 2pm-5pm PST on a telehealth platform VSee and video conferencing platform Zoom. The purpose of the health fair is to educate and inform Greater Los Angeles about pertinent AAPI health issues and how to maintain mental wellbeing in light of current AAPI events. Free mental health consultations provided by professional providers, as well as various health services, such as guided meditation workshops, AAPI social justice information, and more! Hello friends! My name is Kanthi Raja and I'm in my fourth year at Fielding Graduate University. I'm recruiting participants for my dissertation, approved by Fi...elding's IRB. My topic is maternal identity development in South Asian women residing in the United States! I'm looking for 1-2 people who are able to participate in a qualitative interview immediately, along with more participants over the next 10-12 months. Eligibility criteria include participants who: 1. Are age 18 or older and currently living in the United States. 2. Are in good physical and emotional health as determined by a medical professional. 3. Are of South Asian origin (Pakistani, Bangladeshi, East Indian, Sri Lankan, Nepali). 4. Are experiencing their first pregnancy or are in their postpartum year with their first child. All information shared is confidential! I can conduct interviews either virtually or in person.
