This March event celebrates Art is Education month with a special activity for the whole family, brought to you by the Alameda County Library, BookMobile, and the Alameda County Arts Commission. A special dance performance from Castro Valley Performing Arts Academy will be featured! @morganharpernichols I cannot tell you how things will fall in place, but I can tell you, you are free to create. You are free to make beautiful, honest things. And even if the only thing you made was room for a conversation, or space on your desk to open your journal, that matters. That matters just as much as the bigger things. This is still a part of your progress, your process, your story, your journey. This does not mean you will get the attention of the world when you m...ake something. What it means is that when you choose to make beautiful, honest things, you are choosing to say: no matter what I lack, I am making the most of what has been given to me. So keep putting things out in the world that are true. Make work that you believe in. Make things with what you have. And one day you will look back with gratitude that you kept going. When you do this, it becomes less about how many people listen, who unfollowed, or who didn’t show up to support. Because the more you speak from a place of truth, the more you will be able to be unapologetically you. The more you will begin to see that sometimes, you get the feedback you were looking for, and sometimes you do not, but every time, you spoke with grace and truth. Every time, you were yourself. You created something from depths of you. Even if you don’t always get it right. Even if you still have your moments of doubt. Even if you’re still following your curiosity and you’re not really sure if passionate about this thing yet...this too is a part of your voice. This, too is a part of your story.
