Our movie night on Friday October 1 is SOLD OUT! If your child is attending this event be sure to arrange a ride home. With movie night ending at 8:15 PM students will not be able to walk home.

This week during library time our K-5th grade students will have the chance to take 1-2 books home to add to their home collection. A big thank you to our library technician, Diana Parrales, for making this happen!

Our Back to School Outdoor Dance is coming this week! Thursday afternoon, $5 grades 3-5 and $10 grades 6-8. Looking forward to seeing our students there!

For the month of September our school will focus on responsibility and learning. School is now in full swing, our students are doing a great job of adjusting to life in the classroom, and now is the time to begin to see their hard work create results!

Parking is very restricted again as our solar project moves forward. Be sure to park in parking stalls only. We also encourage walking to and from school whenever possible.

Remember, every Monday is an Early Release Monday. Pick-up times are shown below.

Did you miss picture day? You still have a chance to get into the yearbook this year! You can upload any of your personal photos to Shutterfly, choose a school photo background, and voila! Once you have your digital image, email it to [email protected]. Please include your child’s name, grade, and teacher.

Art Freiler School is saddened to learn about the passing of Carol Brohard. Carol is one of our original Stars, opening the school in 2001. She taught 2nd grade at Art Freiler until her retirement in 2016. Carol was truly invested in the Art Freiler community. Her children, Christopher and Melissa, both attended Freiler and promoted to high school in 2004 and 2006, respectively. In addition to teaching, Carol was the director and producer for Galaxy Theatre for fourteen ye...ars, leading productions such as Alice in Wonderland, The Lion King, and Mary Poppins. Our yearbooks are filled with pictures of cast and crew for these productions, all led by Carol. Carol is survived by her husband, Grant, and children Christopher and Melissa. A celebration of life will take place on a later date.
