Art Etc 28.11.2020

Believe it or not we are only 14 days away from Christmas and only 21 days away from the end of this horrific year. Happy Holidays!

With all thats going on around us this Holiday Season is looking to be a little different than what we are used to. We would like to help calm the stress and anxiety that go along with this time of year by giving back to the community that has been diligently trying to keep us small family owned businesses afloat. We appreciate every last one of you and if we were still able to hug each other we would bear hug every last one of you. So come on in and help us say good riddance to 2020 once and for all. Starting November 10th we will be having a huge sale that will last till the end of the year or till we run out of stock. 30% off all ready-made frames 40% off all canvas stretching 50% off select frame mouldings All sales prices are limited to stock on hand

Help us welcome in some new artists to the Art Etc Gallery. Mark Thau is a well known local photographer with over 15 years of professional experience. These particular photos on display are printed on metal which only enhances the colors he is able to capture with a camera. Cameron Harry is a painter and illustrator with a unique eye for the obscure. He has never shown his art in this magnitude but I think he's good enough to handle his own in any Gallery. As always, pictures never really do the art justice. Come on down and check the newbies out (along with our other artists) and experience the brilliance in for yourself.

Nature’s art....

After careful consideration and planning we have decided to open the doors to the general public once againfinally, on Monday May 18th. We know this will upset some locals who think it’s too early still but we feel that with our preparedness and generally low customer counts (we usually do not have more than a couple customers in at once) we can open our doors safely knowing that we are doing all that is asked of us to keep the public and my employees safe. We also need you ...to know that we will close the doors again if there is a huge spike in infections in our area. Shopping is going to be little bit different for a while and people are going to feel anxious or scared about going out. Believe us when we say this is scary for us too. We don’t want to get sick either. Politics aside the main reason we are re-opening now is we just want to go back to work and our lives back. We will be complying with all of our states suggestions for being safe when re-opening a retail business. We will be wearing face masks, gloves and washing our hands between customers. We have hand sanitizer at every corner and we will be practicing social distancing regularly. We will also only allow 5 people or less in the shop at any given time. The hardest decision we had to make was if it would be required for the customer to wear a mask. Our ultimate decision was no, the customer does not have to wear a mask to enter but it is STRONGLY recommended. This also will anger some people but we feel this is the fairest decision. We encourage you, if you are feeling anxious, to call ahead and set up a one-on-one appointment with our professional designer where we will close and lock the doors until your framing order is complete. We also hope that if you are feeling ill in any way please do not come into our shop, you will be asked to leave immediately This is the time for all of you to step up and stop ordering from Amazon for a while and shop at a local store. This is especially important right now. We all opened up our small businesses for YOU. Eat at a local diner, get your hardware locally, shop at the nearest Farmers Market, get your shoes at the ma and pa store down the street. We are not telling you what to do we are asking this of you so that we can stay in business in order to best serve YOU. Shopping locally benefits everyone. We encourage everyones opinion but any nasty or political comments will be deleted We are sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. We are in this together.
