Sometimes it's the little things in life that make me feel I'm in the right profession. Yesterday I had a telehealth intake pre visit with a patient. Based on his symptoms, I said he needed to be seen asap at a clinic or er. He checked into the er this morning as lab results pointed to a possible thrombosis. We can help even without seeing patients in person. Let's all check in with each other more often. You never know what may come up.
