It's a bit late for this post but my beautiful bride and I just returned from our honeymoon on the Big Island. I'm so unbelievably happy and excited for our life to begin together! Just a few photos from the wedding and honeymoon, along with some of the knives I made for the groomsmen. We also brought back some beautiful Koa wood that's endemic to Hawaii. This wood will turn into the next round of kitchen knives for new cutting boards, hopefully in time for Christmas. Thank you to everyone who made this a fun and safe wedding and honeymoon! I hope everyone who came out had a great time and is staying safe. :)

Cutting boards starting at only $30! Sure you could buy some throw away plastic cutting boards for 30 anywhere. But if you're serious about your family's food and health as well as supporting small local business and the environment, then maybe switch to solid wood. Plastic cutting boards can harbor dangerous bacteria in the cuts and will inevitably be thrown in the trash (contribution to some huge landfill). ... Behind the Build Each build starts with hand picked rough cut lumber based on the customer's preference. The lumber is then milled, joined, hand paned to dead flat and details are added. In the case of this table a chamfer was cut to add detail to the edge, bowties accents were then hand cut and inlayed and flushed with the surface of the table. The steel legs are then cut, welded and painted.... The final step is a coat of natural Danish oil, followed by 5 coats of a satin polyeurathane finish.
