We could be in the lesser orange or even yellow tier here in Apple Valley due to our numbers. But we are viewed as a county as a whole. As a whole, we are in the purple tier.

To our friends and family: It is with heavy heart that we have collectively as a group decided to forego the Fall season. We know we opened up registration with HUGE anticipation to start the season just a short time ago. What changed? ... When we opened registration, there were signs of that state, county and town allowing sports to resume contact. We planned to be ahead of the curve and start conditioning with anticipation of full contact in the short future. With the Governor's new tiered system, as a county, we are held to the same standards as cities that have higher Covid-19 numbers than others. Our first district supervisor Lovingood also came out pressuring the Govenor to allow cities to open as they broke lesser tiers than as a county. Apple Valley Unified School District has been allowed to apply for a waiver for children to return, because the town is in a lesser tier than as a county as a whole. We've been closely following other sports in the area. Yes, they have started "conditioning" and some, have even played games. But without permission, those who've began actual games have been cited by the cities for doing so, pushing them back to "conditioning only". We could have easily started conditioning a couple weeks after registration, but we'd still only be allowed to "condition" even after four weeks. Yes, club has started to play, but they aren't allowed to compete. If they do compete, they are competing out of the state. With the time getting closer into the end of the year, it's getting colder and lights are a huge expense. We simply just don't see an end in sight. We totally regret informing you of this decision even just weeks ago having such high hopes. If you choose, we are offering full refunds. Or to have your registration rolled into next Spring season. We thank you all for your support. We tried!

**UPDATE** We know many have asked for an update. We still have yet to hold a player draft so coaches have not received their rosters yet. We are tenatively looking to host a draft next Thursday and Friday but we are still in a holding pattern. As you should know, we are following the state guidelines for reopening. As of today, we are not clear to fully practice or play games. We plan to be ahead of the curve and have teams assembled and ready to start practice soon, but with state direction. Thank you for being patient and we are working very hard behind the scenes to get this season up and running. Look out for another update next week to confirm we will host a player draft.

One practice per week -Start games tentatively October 17th -8 games 8 weeks straight -We will follow CalSouth guidelines for fully re-starting. CalSouth guidelines are set by State guidelines -We will also follow the County and Town regulations -This will be a fluid situation and we will move along with local, County, State and CDC guidelines.
