We are organizing a series of informational meetings s where fire survivors can come and ask questions to understand the issues regarding PG&E's bankruptcy. Although it is essential for everyone affected to file claims - only 50% of eligible survivors have done so. The deadline is October 21. What we need to know is: - Filing is easy. Select an attorney you feel will accurately represent you - Claims will be for uninsured, underinsured losses and for loss of income, emotion...al damage, pain, and suffering. - Payments are anticipated by mid-2020. - PG&E has filed for reorganization bankruptcy; they have assets and recovery (at some level) is certain. Informational meetings are scheduled for: Wednesday, September 11 at 6:30 pm Schaefer Charter School (1370 San Miguel Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95403) in Coffey Park Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 pm Rincon Valley Grange (5055 Rincon Ave, Santa Rosa, CA 95409) in Rincon Valley.

Our very own John Allen represented the North Coast Builders Exchange for the North Bay Construction Corps at the celebration for the Sonoma Wildfire Cottages at Medtronic last Friday, 8/16 It was an honor to be part of the NBCC process as they were working on building fences, foundations and setting windows and doors. It was another honor to be there and hear Lauren speak on behalf of the NCBE and NBCC as she shared in some of the contributions to building this site.
