In the midst of difficult times, we are grateful. As we close this year, we at API are grateful for the healing and renewal to come.
Alvarado Parkway Institute is excited to be apart of the Recovery Collective. API will be presenting on complex mood disorders and chronic mental illness. It’ll be a great presentation for anyone wanting to better understand more acute mental health diagnoses and how they are treated. The first Wednesday of November marks International Stress Awareness Day. We know that this year has been a particularly stressful one with the pandemic, social unrest, and political tensions high. If stress gets overwhelming it can cause other mental health problems, emotional exhaustion, and physical illness. Remember to check in with yourself and seek help before it becomes overwhelming.
