To receive the vaccine, you must meet the follow criteria below: Eligible group: 65 years or older... Must be a patient or assigned member of APHCV This MUST be your 1st dose of the COVID-19 Vaccine Must be out of COVID isolation (24 days) Must not be currently infected with COVID-19 Must not have received any type of treatment for COVID-19 in the past 90 days. Must not have had ANY other vaccines in the last 14 days Must not have had sever allergic reactions to vaccines in the past Appointment slots are limited! APHCV is pleased to inform you that we are starting our new service podiatry service at APHCV’s Los Feliz Health Center at 1530 Hillhurst Ave. Los Angeles, 90027. We will provide Out-Patient Podiatry services that are non-invasive or minor surgical procedures as follows. Service will be available starting August 11 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00am-5:00pm. Due to the shortage of test kits nationally, APHCV does not provide COVID-19 Testing at this time. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health (LAC DPH) advises that mild cases of COVID-19 will not be tested. Severe COVID-19 suspect cases are referred to the Emergency Department where COVID-19 testing is performed. Due to the high risk of spread, LAC DPH also advises that home care is provided for mild colds, flu, and COVID-19 disease like symptoms. Advice on staying healthy: Avoid close contact with people who are sick. Wash your hands with soap and water regularly. Alcohol hand sanitizers are also effective. Try not to touch your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands. Stay home when you are sick (and keep sick children home from school). But make sure to arrange to pick up medication and keep your medical appointment (Remember APHCV now provides telephone visit appointment for you with your provider) Cough or sneeze into a tissue or your elbow. If you use a tissue, throw it away after use and wash your hands afterwards. Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces.
