During these unprecedented times, it’s amazing to see great acts of kindness. Muzhda Rezai and Usof Hashim, both student pharmacists here at Pacific, showed their appreciation to essential workers by providing Essential Workforce Appreciation Packs to workers in Antioch, CA and Brentwood, CA. These packs had 10 items including items like gloves, masks, and hand sanitizer! They encourage everyone to support your local community through this coronavirus pandemic and show your appreciation to the essential workers who are critical to keep society functions and provide us all with the resources we need. Students in the medicare class at our school help patients in the community find the most cost effective plan that meets their medication needs. Students also provide medication therapy management services to educate patients on their medications and evaluate any side effects.
