The Taft College Student Center construction is showing progress. The 21,000 SF Student Center building will incorporate a Kitchen, Dining Hall, Student Lounge, Game Area, Bookstore and ASB Facilities. The roofline was designed to represent the rolling hills nearby known locally as Taft Hills, which break up the predominantly flat agriculture and oil fields. The double curved clerestory rooflines give the Student Center a sense of individuality on campus and provides a voluminous bookstore area with plenty of natural light. The building compliments the recently completed Courtyard renovation project which provides an amphitheater, landscaping, a fountain and multiple hang-out areas. http://www.taftcollege.edu/
