We finally received our shipment and they are now available for sale to the RV-ers and aviation community. The Anti-Splat-Aero pulse oximeter or saturometer is our latest safety device offering, that can indirectly monitor the oxygen saturation of a pilot or passengers blood (as opposed to measuring oxygen saturation directly through a blood sample) and changes in blood volume in the skin, producing a photoplethysmograph. This is our newest specialty tool we developed specifically for the RVers at the suggestion of a couple of the forum members with first hand experience. After a bit of investigation we learned there was a need for this and how important its function is. This little tool could really save the day in the event of a flip over in your RV. We at Anti-Splat-Aero are excited to offer another new product, (THE VERTICAL STABILIZER BRACKET MOD.) to add considerable strength and structure to the mounting of the vertical stabilizer. Some reports of this mounting bracket developing cracks in two different areas have surfaced and at least in my case was cause for some concern. The vertical stabilizer is definitely not something you can do without so we decided to beef-up it’s attach point, in turn eliminating the prosp...ect of it failing. Though to our knowledge, no tails have fallen off yet, we think it prudent to be sure this potential point of failure is eliminated. Our new brackets are laser cut from very strong and tough, type 301 high tensile aircraft grade stainless sheets (UNS S30-100). This is a much more desirable material for the mounting application. When in a hard slip, rapid yaw movements, any aerobatic maneuver that ads stress to the V/S like snap rolls or worst case point rolls or knife edge flight this area is really stressed to the limits. Our new very light, 3.5 oz. simple, easy installed and inexpensive bracket system accomplishes this beef-up in just a few minutes. This can put to rest fears of many RV-7 and 9 model builders, current owners and potential buyers of these wonderful aircraft. We looked at several different possible methods of accomplishing this and decided to add to, rather than replace, the mounting.
