Our hearts are so full!! Our children’s grammar school, Our Lady Of The Assumption School, generously put on a fundraiser for our Protect With Heart project. The school received over $500 in donations! THANK YOU!! The students surprised us and made hearts that were compiled into these posters for each of our hospital units which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. With this donation we were able to send a box of scrub hats to the ICU at Duke University Hospital in No...rth Carolina The motto of Our Lady of Assumption School is "Hands to Serve, Hearts to Love". Texas has been another state hit hard by C0VID so it was so great to be able to bring smiles to this ICU crew in Texas. The nurse we coordinated this donation with told us "We are legit just trying to keep our head above water at this point. Everyone is so excited and loves the scrub hats sooooo much. Thank you!" We’ve always dreamed of working together we work at different hospitals, in different cities, and different departments (ER & ICU) but, today we volunteered to help vaccinate over 1,000 people against this virus that we both know all too well. A shot of hope We had the pleasure to meet Cherie Blanchette Fields (pictured) who wore her Protect with Heart face mask for the occasion and has supported our project from the beginning. She was just as excited to see us as we were her! Best. Day. Ever.

Southern California hospitals have been especially hard hit over the last several months with C0VID patients so we were excited to be able to send a box of Protect With Heart love to the Medical ICU at UCLA and bring them some smiles during these challenging times We hope to send more love to Southern California soon.
