Fresh nettles, straight from the garden. In my mind, this is the most useful plant you can grow, even if you have a small garden. Stinging nettles are a perenni...al vegetable - you can harvest the greens almost all year long and you don't need to replant them from seed, as they grow back from the roots every spring. It's a nutritional powerhouse very high in chlorophyll, vitamins A and C, and minerals (like iron and calcium). The leaves, seeds and roots are all medicinal in their own right.
