BIG NEWS THIS EVENING! Trione Annadel State Park staff (with the help of REMBA and Sonoma County Trails Council volunteers!) will be opening a LOOP consisting ...of MARSH and TWO-QUARRY trails MIDDAY TOMORROW (Saturday)! See attached map - the YELLOW line is the reopened loop. Please, please, please, make every effort to stay on the trails - and especially to remain off fragile burned areas. Meantime, we're working hard to make plans to open more trails, so stay tuned. ***The Fine Print:*** Two Quarry and most of Marsh Trail in Trione-Annadel State Park will be opened for visitors. Two Quarry Trail from Richardson to its junction with Marsh Trail at the bathroom and Marsh Trail from the bathroom to Canyon Trail are open. Marsh Trail to Ridge Trail, Ridge Trail, S. Burma, Lawndale and Schultz remain closed as further repairs are completed. Soil conditions in the burned areas are fragile so it is important to stay on the trail. CA State Park rangers are continuing to patrol and issue citations for those found in the closed areas.

ANNADEL IS OPEN! At sunrise, the *unburnt* areas of Annadel State Park will be open! Get out and ride! The fire impacted areas, as well as ALL social trails,... will remain closed. Please respect the closure zone and allow the park time to heal. Fortunately, most of the burnt area did not climb into the tree canopy, so we have our fingers crossed for future trail openings... Meantime, enjoy the park, take a few minutes to read all the new posted signage about the closure orders, and high five a ranger! Park staff have worked hard to make it so WE can get back into this place we love! WOOO! ANNADEL IS OPEN!

Parks Update: Trione-Annadel and Sugarloaf Ridge State Parks are CLOSED till further notice.There are active fires still being fought in Annadel, and may be for weeks more yet. Heavy equipment and resource agencies are hard at work in Annadel and Sugarloaf to rehab dozer lines and fire damage, evaluate natural resources, evaluate hazardous trees. Due to the conditions, park staff have NOT been able to evaluate safety hazards in the unburned portion of Annadel the historical winds pre-fire make all areas of the park extremely dangerous. All entrances to Annadel are CLOSED till further notice, signed or not. Spring Lake Park reopened as of Sunday.
