Of course I asked him to kiss me for the picture. But that’s not the point. The point is that we were standing at Khor Virap, a monastery I’ve been wanting to visit for years. And I finally got to see it with my Vahe and behind us stood the magestic Mount Ararat, granting us with its glory. Standing at the closest distance possible from it within the safe perimeters, and yet being so far from it gives you all the feels. Ironically enough, I look at Masis and I feel safe and protected- crazy, right? And right next to us flew the Armenian flag- high and proud, with a cross right above.
