The 30 push up for 30 days challenge was started to raise awareness for mental health issues. We had to join in to support those who suffer in silence. A healthy dose of physical activity works wonders for fitness and attitude! Anyone want to join us???

"Loki" was hiking with his mom in a nature preserve and jumped in a group of cactus. When he came to Animal Hospital of South Bay Rolling Hills, Dr. Walker and her great team, removed 3 lbs of cactus and very fine needles! Yes a very sticky situation! Loki returned a week later doing just fine at recheck, and has made a full recovery.

It’s National Dog Day and we wanted to share a heartwarming story...Sometimes you hear a story and you don’t even hesitate to helpyou find a way, you find a team and you make it happen. Thats what happened when some wonderful people from the SPCA, the Angel Fund Grant Program and Animal Hospital of South Bay stepped up to save a sweetheart of a dog! All are featured this month in the July issue of the SCVMA magazine PULSE.... Hats off to the staff at each of these organizations who recognized a gentle soul in need and worked together to make a happy day. This gentleman had no way to pay for the surgery his beloved pet needed and faced a heartbreaking decision. But staff at the SPCA recognized there was an opportunity to help . Thats where the Angel Fund Grant Program and Animal Hospital of South Bay came together to bring about the happy ending. Read the whole story in PULSE Magazine, thank you for the great write up of a heartwarming story Hugs and slobbery kisses to all who helped Happy National Dog Day!
