What do you do when a customer brings you a pest you've never seen before? You get to work doing your homework. Last week we had a customer ask us about the "giant, hammerhead worms" she was finding in her front grass. A quick image search later and she picked this beauty out of our line-up: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bipalium... As of this posting, there are no treatments available for this species, so we are recommending a series of mechanical controls to alter the moisture levels in her lawn in the hopes of making the yard a less attractive place to live.
