COMING SOON! I will be selling my handmade wares on this site.
I’ve made over 100 masks so far. Still sewing them. Waiting for more elastic.
These are some of the stuffed animals I have made since the stay at home order.
Working on this quilt for a community service project. I’ve never done this pattern before. All the pieces were already cut and partially sewn. It’s called Grandmother’s Flower Garden.
I plan to work on this quilt while I’m on vacation. It’s a zentangle that I drew and cut out of black fabric with an xacto knife. Needs lots of quilting and then bead work.
Quilted this beautiful quilt for Sue. It’s a wedding present...lucky couple. I love this design. The second picture is a panel on the back of the quilt.
Student’s OBW designs from the class. They were awesome! I will be teaching the class again in August.
My latest One Block Wonder design
I will be teaching a One-Block-Wonder class next month at Cathy's Sew & Vac/Honey Run Quilters. These are two of the samples I have made from fabric purchased at Honey Run Quilter's. The pastel one is a watercolor floral fabric shown in the border. The brighter one is a butterfly fabric. I plan to applique some of the original butterflies onto the border.
Working on Lynette's Grandmother's Dresden Plates quilt. Old and vintage fabrics...beautiful!
Designing a new one block wonder
I’ve been doing allot of drawing while hanging out here at the hospital. I love watercolor and zentangle. It’s fun to just keep adding more.
Picket fence with flowers. Lots of fussy cutting on those flowers! I’d like to eventually add more embellishments.
This is an art quilt that I made on a visit to Maui. I got the pattern from the little quilt shop in Kihei. Their shop is filled to the brim with fabulous fabrics! The sky on this was my first go at thread painting.
