Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, Anaheim 3rd Ward

It is with much sadness that I make known that a great man passed on Easter Sunday. LaVar Adams passed away early Sunday morning (2 am). He passed away quickly at home with his sweetheart Afton by his side. He fought a good fight - the last couple of years have been a battle and he will be missed. He was like a father to me and now he is at rest! I am sure he will be greeted by Grace, Steve(s) and Carl and his brother to just name a few of some special people that have gone before him and will welcome him with open arms.

As we prepare for Easter - use this as a time of reflection on the Savior and all he did and does for us! "When you have done it unto the least of my brethren you have done it unto me" Lift another with kindness or even a smile - lighten someone burden today!

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving! So much to be thankful for in spite of our set backs and challenges to know God loves us and to feel his love through our brothers and sisters and loved ones is incredible! Take a moment and lift another of their burdens by just being kind and sensitive to their situation! God Bless and Happy Thanksgiving!!!

So sorry for another terrible blow to the Anaheim 3rd ward family. Steve LaBurn, was such an awesome example of a supportive and loving husband to me, a good father and a good man! He will be missed!

It is with great sorrow to inform you that Michael Bigpond passed away January 25th, 2015. A memorial service will be held in his honor and for those that loved him on Friday, February 13th at 1pm located at Hilgenfield Mortuary 120 East Broadway, Anaheim, CA 92805
