The breath is something we don’t pay much attention to but it has a huge effect on our lives.

We are still very far from being allowed to and being comfortable reopening. Massage therapy is under stage 3 of the reopening plan. Beyond that, I’ve had a lot on my mind regarding massage therapy and COVID-19. This long list was complied by another therapist and is not my work. Happy International Firefighters Day to my friends at @chicofire2734 ! Thank you for doing everything you do. It’s such a privilege to work with this incredible group of people that devote their lives to serving and protecting the public. Thanks for letting me tag along on rides, ask a zillion questions and teach you yoga!

You are not the same person you were six weeks ago. You are different now. You are more comfortable with being uncomfortable. You are more patient. You are better at sitting with silence. You are more compassionate. You are more capable than you imagined. You are stronger than you ever thought possible. Use this time. Use it well. We may never have the opportunity to sit in solitude like this again. We may never be blessed enough to be bored. Spending time a long, without distractions is a blessing that people pay lots of money for. Turn off your cell phone. Turn off the news. Turn off social media. Even if just for an hour. Go outside. Go play. Go try something you’re not sure you’re capable of. If you don’t try, you will never know.
