Last week's art camp was filled with many different media and styles. Inspiration was found at SF MoMA with the Magritte exhibition, in nature with fruits, birds and hydrangeas, as well as with fantastical dragons of our own creation! Here are some highlights:

Are you looking for some local art experiences for the whole family? Check out this month's juried exhibit at San Francisco Women Artists Gallery (Irving St and 8th Ave) titled "Intrigue." Two of my watercolor pieces are on display and so are many other fabulous works of art. It's a great place to find gifts of jewelry and ceramics by local artists as well. Hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 12 to 4 pm. Stop by soon!

Please come join us at San Francisco Women Artists Gallery at 647 Irving St., this Saturday, September 16th, for a celebration of student artwork hanging in their "Artist Salon!" The pieces will hang through September 30th, and showcase a wide range of media we have practiced in Amy's Art Camps this year. Most pieces are by student artists between the ages of 5 and 9 years old, and they are impressive! I'll be hosting an opening reception with them from 11 am to 1 pm, Saturday, Sep. 16th. Stop by and celebrate with us!
