HAPPY 245th BIRTHDAY TO ALL OF OUR BROTHER AND SISTER U.S. MARINES !

Yesterday evening AMVETS Post Commander Michael L. Emerson went to the U.S. Marine Corps Ball in Brentwood, California to celebrate the 245th Birthday of the United States Marine Corps which will be on 10 Nov 2020. Michael went with Mary and also AMVETS Post #1947 Telecommunications Officer Army veteran Lt. Colonel Raphael Pazo who played the Marine Corps Hymn using his bagpipes. Good food, good company and good Marine Corps Brothers and Sisters. Happy Birthday Marines. Semper Fi & OoohRah !

The 2nd photo is of Post member Vietnam Veteran Robert Montgomery drawing the winner of our Lowe's donated BBQ raffle. The 3rd photo is of M. "Linc" Raverty (he bought 7 tickets out of 100 sold) picking up the BBQ - Congratulations.
