AMR San Benito

Our thoughts are with our AMR Sutter Division on the loss of one of their supervisors who suddenly collapsed and passed away at the age of 29. Please see attached flyer if you're interested in helping in anyway or joining them for their fundraiser.

Today we participated in San Benito High School's Every 15 Minutes Program! This program helps educate students about the dangers of drinking and driving and good decision making. AMR thanks CHP, Hazel Hawkins Hospital, HFD, HPD, San benito County Sheriff office, and other departments and allied agencies for your help and participation.

We are deeply saddened to share that our Mississippi colleague and Medstat/AMR EMT, Michael Collums, died in the line of duty yesterday in a crash in northern Mississippi. His partner, Raymond Reed was transported to an area hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries. Michael was a devoted husband and father. He dedicated his life to caring for others. He was a skilled, compassionate and fearless EMT who embodied all of the qualities of an exemplary EMS provider. Our thoughts go out to the families, friends and colleagues of Michael and Raymond.
