Nicole, from Pennsylvania, survived her AFE on February 7th, 2018, shortly after the birth of her son, Wyatt. She shares her story of survival in her own words: I was very lucky with my AFE. Wyatt was delivered before it happened, and oddly enough I didn't even realize I was in danger. The doctors and nurses kept me so calm. My husband and son were rushed out and he thought everything was fine. It wasn't until the next day that a nurse explained to us what had really happen...ed. Apparently, I had coded and was in the ICU and I needed blood due to a hemorrhage. It has been 3 years now and I truly believe that Wyatt and I had guardian angels that day.
