The Sacramento Breastfeeding Coalition milk drive is here! It’s a great opportunity to help our community.

Spread the word. Baby wearing is great for mommas and babies. If you know someone who would benefit from help getting a wrap/carrier send them the info.

Need some new reading material? Check out the Modern Mrs. Darcy summer reading guide. Below is the minimalist version, but she’s got a more in-depth option on the site. https://modernmrsdarcy.com/minimalist-summer-reading-guide/

Watching Ali Wong’s Hard Knock Life. Some brutally honest, and often funny, musings about motherhood. Totally not suitable if cussing is not your thing.

This organization, that supports families with pregnancy and infant loss, was brought to my attention by a family that I worked with and have become attached to. At the time I saw them I had no idea of the loss they experienced. Through the sharing of their story I see how beneficial this program is, both to the receiving family and the giving. It’s a reminder that whatever individual struggle you are going through, there are others who have walked a similar path and are there to support and guide you. You are not alone. http://sharingparents.org

Another reason to spend time at Target. As if there aren’t enough already.
