I don’t think we’ll ever run out of pics and videos from our road trip to Colorado, it was all too beautiful to not get out and document! And of course the dogs got out and enjoyed what they could too! Note: many national parks have strict rules regarding dogs, no rules were broken in this video. It’s important when traveling to national parks with dogs that we do everything we can to ensure our dogs are well behaved, under control, and not a nuisance/causing disturbances. Every year the laws surrounding dogs in public lands get stricter and stricter, if we wish to continue being allowed to enjoy all the beautiful places this country has to offer with our dogs, we MUST demonstrate ideal behavior.

Just a couple good boys placing on a red rock! Many people only use Place in the home with the dogs beds, but we find it is a really convenient command on hikes! When on a narrow trail and someone is coming the other direction or trying to pass, being able to tell your dogs to place on a rock, tree stump, ledge, etc... off to the side so they are out of the way makes the exchange so smooth and stress free for you and and the other folks involved! It takes a little extra practice to show the dog that place doesn’t only mean bed, but it’s totally worth it for struggle free hikes and picture taking!

Just a couple of highlights from Zack and Scrappys mondioring trial! Together they earned the MR3 title (the highest level) with a very respectable score of 353/400. Way to go team!!!

Now we’re focusing on getting caught up with the Patreon! Tirelessly finishing and editing several videos so we can get them uploaded and start on new ones! We’re home and have hit the ground running! Back to work as usual in sunny San Diego It feels like our trip totally flew by, and so is this year! We’ve all got that one friend who has to be extra for the photo. Scrappy is that friend These 3 boys (L-R: Goose, Ozark, and Scrappy) are having a fantastic time in Colorado with us! Lots of training, hiking, and running around in the crisp morning and evening air. I don’t think they miss California one bit! Unfortunately for them, we’ll be back by the 14th and then it’s business as usual. But don’t worry boys! Despite summer being over we’ll still have plenty of beach time, California’s major redeeming quality in the eyes of these pups!

Colorado has been very good to the ADP crew! We’re so grateful for the opportunity to train our dogs in such gorgeous landscapes and in the presence of some incredible wildlife! The ADP team is on the road! We drove to Utah and had a great time visiting with our friends at @elevatedcanineacademy yesterday. Now we’re headed to Colorado to spend some time with family, our personal dogs, and preparing for Zack and Scrappy’s trial! We are doing our best to remain active and respond to messages during this little vacation, however, we have a lot planned and will be busy throughout our trip! We appreciate your patience as we try to respond to everyone in a timely manner while trying to juggle work and play

Saturday’s are for pets and Gonzo couldn’t be happier about it Gonzo is Scrappys successor. Scrappy is 6 years old and nearing retirement, so Zack is training Gonzo to take over his position as Demo Dog. Gonzo is learning everything scrappy knows and more and Zack is videoing every step of the way!
