The American Legion Post 419 again thanks everyone for all their support with our lunch program over the past 7 weeks. Since the turnout has been nothing but positive, we will continue with the lunches as long as our own Chef Brenda Manley is available. Attached are the menu’s for the next two weeks. The American Legion Post 419 will again be serving lunch this week on Wed., Thurs., and Sat., from 11:30 - 2:00pm, so come on down and support your local Post 419. $10.00 per person. Drinks not included. We’ll also be serving First Sunday Breakfast this Sunday, 10/4, from 9:00 - 11:00am. $10.00 per person. Does not include alcoholic drinks but does include juice and coffee. The American Legion Post 419 wishes to thank everyone who came out to support the Post by purchasing lunches during the past four weeks. We also want to thank all the volunteers that made it happen as well. We served cheeseburgers, chili cheese dogs, tacos, spaghetti and meat balls and lasagna, chicken fried steak, meatloaf, Patty melts, chicken and sausage sandwiches, and of course with all the fixings plus we were able to serve your favorite drinks along side your meal. We ...are now entering our Week V which runs from Wednesday, 9/16/20, thru Saturday, 9/19/20. Again we appreciate Chef Brenda Manley and her volunteers, who had volunteered to prepare lunches for Week IV and now Week V. Please see the attached menus. Our second week of selling lunches at the American Legion Santa Clara Post 419 went very well last week. All lunches were $10.00 plus the bar was available for those who wanted something cool and refreshing. The Menu over four days consisted of cheese burgers, chili dogs, potato salad, tacos, Spanish rice, refried beans, spaghetti and salad. Great feedback from our customers! Starting tomorrow, 9/2, and through Saturday 9/5, our third week Menu will be as follows: Wednesday -... Many thanks to all who came out this past week to support The American Legion Post 419 in Santa Clara. Outdoor Dining was available with a simple menu of chili cheese dogs, cheeseburgers and potato salad along with your favorite beverages. It was nice to see some familiar faces and to be able to socialize even if it was a bit smoky at times. This week we’ll revise the menu as shown below. Starting tomorrow, 8/19/20, The American Legion Post 419 will start selling 1/4 lb. Chili Dogs and 1/3 lb. Cheese Burgers along with a scoop of potatoe salad, pickle spear and a freshly made chocolate chip cookie, all for a donantion of $10.00. Drinks sold seperatly. The Bar is closed however you can purchase alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with your food order. Outdoor dining is available and shaded for your comfort, or you can have it to go. All proceeds go towards... sustainability of the Post operations. 958 Homestead Rd., Santa Clara Open from 11:30am - 2:00pm Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday Feeling couped up at the house, need some socializing? Well then come on down and have a bite to eat, a cold drink and maybe discuss who will be your next president or how you can resolve this Covid-19 virus pandemic. Many thanks to all of the Legion, Auxiliary and Sons of American Legion volunteers who put together a very successful First Sunday Breakfast this morning. Of course we thank all those who came for a great breakfast on the lanai as well. Post 419 is always there for our local community. It was really nice to have our local community back for Post 419, especially during these trying times.... Hopefully we’ll see you all again on Sunday, 9/6/20, from 9:00 - 11:00am for another great breakfast. Come early for that ocean front dining experience! LOL! Thank You for your support!

The America Legion Santa Clara Post 419 like most other establishments throughout the US, has been financially impacted by the COVID-19 virus, with new business and lifestyle changes as well as new regulatory compliance matters. However in an effort to bring back our loyal membership and customers with some sense of social normalcy, Post 419 will hold our 1st Sunday Breakfast on 8/2/20, from 9:00am - 11:00am, outdoors on our converted parking lot / patio. Unfortunately due to... the increased costs of food and serving products, the cost of breakfast will increase to $10.00 per person, cash or checks only. Breakfast will still include pancakes, French toast, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, sausage, fruit cocktail, coffee and orange juice. Where can you get all that for $10.00? What a bargain! All social distancing protcols required by the County Health Dept. and City of Santa Clara shall be followed, including the wearing of masks at all times except when seated to eat your meal. We are also offering Drive-Up To-Go meals for those who feel more comforatable eating at home and you won't even have to leave your vehicle. Just look for the Drive-up sign.
