This gorgeous client of mine was doing her roots at home like so many, but over time, it can make the hair color look flat, no dimension or shine. We added in baby lights and a color gloss all over along with a salon grade Olaplex treatment and of course got rid of those stubborn greys. ... REAL TALK Sitting here Sunday morning with my , reflecting on the past 6 months.. and like... . If you know me, you know I’m a transparent feeler who likes to keep it real, yet an optimist As a small biz owner, I am in community with many other small biz owners. I listen first hand to the hardships & losses so many are enduring. My heart is grieved over how badly my industry has been hit. Friends losing their salons they spent their life savings opening, friends losing... their homes and moving in with family. So. Many. Stories & Tears. I’ve had many hardships in my personal life but I’ve been tremendously blessed in my career as a hair stylist the past 15 years I am still incredibly fortunate, but man.. I’ve never felt impacted like this before Being self employed in critical nation wide seasons is rough (Remember 2008 recession) I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know that when things fall apart, it means there is an opportunity to rebuild better, stronger and thrive in purpose & passion Im an over thinker- ambitious go getter.
