What do you think about the Pantone colors for 2021? Every year, Pantone chooses a color (sometimes 2) to set what’s to come next in design trends as well as represent certain political/social movements. This next year is a pair of neutral gray and sunny yellow. I personally have always been a fan of these colors both together and individually. I am excited to use these colors in my designs as well as my outfits!... Where do you think you’ll use these colors in the coming year?

One sign of a iconic advertisement: Leaves you feeling like what you just watched wasn’t a complete waste of your time. Where’s the tissues?

#QuarantineChicWeek is a daily makeup challenge concept I came up with for a Facebook group dedicated to all things makeup. Each day leading up to Easter, members are challenged to play up one facial feature while trying something they’ve never done before. On Easter, members are encouraged to go all out and #GetYourChicOn. . . . All graphics created by @alyshacreative using @wordswag ... . . . #chicweek #quarantinemakeup #quarantinemakeupchallenge #quarantinechic #wordswagapp #eastermakeup #graphicdesign #graphicdesigner #gradient #losangelescreatives #losangelesdesigner #losangelesdesign #losangelesgrammers #chicdesign #graphicsdesigner #makeupdesign #makeupartist #mua #conceptdesign #marketingstrategy #marketingcampaign #instagraphic @ Los Angeles, California See more

3 years ago I worked with Lauren on this great project. What a great tool for keeping kids busy while they are stuck at home! You can find these printable cards on her website! #homeschooling #choresmadeeasy

Visited @theuniquespace for @tuesdaystogetherla. Their venue is STUNNING! . This neon sign is in their pink bridal suite. As you can see, my iPhone camera didn’t want to pick up the pink color on the walls (2nd photo). . But thanks to technology, I was able to recreate the dreamy cotton candy pink cloud the way I remember it.... . Is this color accurate to real life? Probably not! Our cameras interpret color differently than our eyes. As creators, we have a responsibility to create our version of an image the way we want it to be - the way we want to remember it. . #colorispersonal #therisingtide @ The Unique Space See more

Just look up. . I recently posted this exact same picture, but this morning I looked at it again and realized it was GREEN! I thought there was nothing wrong with the photo when I originally posted it. Just goes to show how hard color correction can be, and how many years of experience go into *making every pixel perfect.* . But also, color is so perceivable and so personal. It’s part of what makes us unique and develops our identity and style.... . So celebrate your uniqueness! And for my creatives out there - #JUSTDOYOU. You are amazing. You are one of a kind. Embrace that. Share that. Because this world only gets 1 of you. . @ Los Angeles, California See more

For the past 6 years, I have made an ongoing joke that #ComicSans will make a comeback. I went so far to make this joke on my social media profiles - including work-related LinkedIn, as a way to show my sense of humor, but also show that I’m tracking design trends. Comic Sans, has in fact, made a comeback. I’ve been seeing it more and more often. Today, I spotted a YouTube channel that exclusively uses the Comic Sans typeface. ... And guess what? IT TOTALLY WORKS. In their videos, the childish font pairs well with their branding, messaging, and target audience. P.S. - If you’ve never heard of Rhett and Link or Good Mythical Morning you may be a bit lost, but also in for a wonderful, hilarious treat.

Absolutely amazed!

Definitely impressed by how they are able to draw that legibly.

The indigo hue brings to mind both the constant and the classic; the sky at dusk, an impeccably tailored suit, serene waters, or a bowl of perfectly ripe blueberries. We’re returning to classics because everything has been chaotic in the world, Pressman said. It’s not about doing it like you did in the past, but reinterpreting it.

Just in case you’ve been seeing weird things taped to walls for $120k lately, here’s why:
