Today, we got a Mac recovered via phone. Technically, it is still reloading the data, but the process is rolling. Glad to be of service.
Today, we converted from Quickbooks to Quickbooks Online for a client. There is a lot to set up!
Today, we moved data over from one Mac to another, as a client acquired a new Mac. There was a complication that requires another visit to repair, with possible new hardware. At least it is minimal issue.
Today, we solved some little problems with one of our favorite clients. There was an oddity that took a little longer than expected, however, we triumphed and got the older emails that were being missed.
Today, we made a house call in order to get a printer using the right driver, setup a phone, and do a little training on how to use a VPN. As a bonus, we setup some shortcuts so they could more easily find their files.
Today, we built a computer. Simple spec, top of the line everything. 16GB of RAM, i5, ASUS board, 500W PSU, 256 GB SSD, lightscribe DVD burner, and Thermaltake case. Total hardware cost: 820$. That included upgraded thermal paste. It was a pleasure to build a computer again. The client is quite happy with the rig.
Today, we cleaned up a laptop, and made a recommendation to restore to factory. Soon to set up a time.
Today, we started a move for a customer from a Windows machine to a Mac. After some issues are resolved, we will be able to complete the transfer.
Just as a reminder, I accept PayPal payments, which takes credit cards. It is an easy and convenient payment method.
Today, we helped a company get their VBA updated to work with the new version of MS Office 2016. Once the problem was found, it was a matter of rebuilding it.
Today, we were lucky enough to come in on a clutch to help move a companies phone CIS system, and get their backbone setup so that their offices had phone and network.
