Great news for Alpine Village! Today, the Los Angeles County Historical Landmarks and Records Commission voted 3-0 to adopt a resolution nominating Alpine Villa...ge as a County Landmark. This is a multi-step process, and the nomination will come back before the Commission at a future meeting for their recommendation vote to the full Board of Supervisors, which would cast the ultimate vote on designation. We will keep you posted on the details of future meetings. Thank you to everyone who wrote letters, signed our petition, or spoke at today’s meeting. The overwhelming amount of support definitely made an impact on the Commission’s decision to nominate Alpine Village for landmark status.

This vendor event has been cancelled for the SG101 show due to a larger show in the same location two weeks prior, July 20th. (Quiet Village Exotic Tiki Bazaar)

News: in order to avoid a Tikimarketplace scheduling conflict there will be no Aloha Loft Vendor Lounge at the 2019 Surf Guitar 101 Festival . Be sure to visit The Bamboo Club in Long Beach on August 3 for a cool tiki marketplace, then come on down and shake your can at Alpine Village in Torrance at the Surf Guitar 101 Festival....All on the same day!
