All three offices will be open for business (Corona, Montebello, and Gulfport). Please call to schedule your appt ahead of time. 951-356-5255 Staff is taking precautions to keep a safe environment during this pandemic. We ask that you call when you arrive to have us sign you in. Once your preparer is available, we will call you to come in the office. Masks are required at all offices. ... We also ask that you do not bring your children in. We love seeing them each year and are sad we won’t be able to. It is the safest environment when we can control what is touched and sanitized after each client.

Did you utilize our bank products for your refund? Please read below. This is an excerpt directly from the bank institution utilized by our clients who chose bank products including refund advances, refund checks printed and picked up at our office, or if fees were directly taken from their refund through services from Republic Bank. You should have signed bank documents in your tax folder provided during your appointment if you utilized this service. If you had your refund ...mailed or direct deposited..... Your stimulus check will come in the same form unless you go to https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/economic-impact-payments (http://irs.gov) This system is flawed but once it gives a status update, it will give the option of changing or adding bank information to have the stimulus check direct deposited. Please be patient as we have started seeing some of these status update correctly as of the last few days.

Where is your stimulus check? The first round of stimulus checks have been direct deposited to bank accounts as of today, April 15. If you have not received your check, please be patient as the order in which checks are being disbursed is still unknown. To give you an example, out of our staff only one person has received their check. If you want to check the status of your payment, please click here (https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/get-my-payment) to enter your info. If the... site states that your status is not available, please read this article (https://www.irs.gov//irs-statement-on-get-my-payment-appli) for further information. We have found this site has not fully been updated. Keep checking your status in the future days to come to see if there are different updates provided. You will need to reference your 2018 and 2019 (if you have filed). If you do not have your tax returns available, please email us your request at [email protected]. We are receiving an increase in calls so we urge you to please use this method for all requests. Here are some tips to keep in mind: 1. This is the first disbursement; not the final. There are additional checks being paid out on later dates for people who have not received theirs yet. 2. There are no other tools provided to tax preparers at this time to check on your stimulus check. 3. If you are not required to file, but you do qualify for a check please click here (https://www.irs.gov/coro/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here) to enter your info. 4. People who are not eligible for stimulus checks include people who have income, someone claims them as a dependent, *and* are over the age of 17. 5. Income amounts reported do not seem to have a trend in the current disbursement neither does date your returns where submitted. 6. This stimulus checks have no bearing on your tax return refund(s). If your refund was a certain amount, they will remain the same amount. If your refund was due by a certain date, please check here (https://www.irs.gov/refunds) for the status. We are currently unable to call the IRS or Franchise Tax Board for status updates or to obtain explanations of why refunds may have been delayed. 7. The IRS plans to mail a letter to inform you about your payment within 15 days after the payment is made. The letter will provide you information on how the payment was made and how to make a report if you did not receive your funds. Additional questions can be answered here https://www.irs.gov//economic-impact-payment-information-c Stay healthy & God bless!

Have you filed your taxes the last two years? Now is the time to take care of your taxes! From this article:... Q: How will it be sent? If you've gotten a tax refund in the last two years by direct deposit, that's where the money will be sent. If not, the IRS can mail a check to your "last known address," and it has 15 days to notify you of the method and amount of the payment. They'll send a phone number and appropriate point of contact so you can tell them if you didn't receive it. Call us today to set your appointment (951)356-5255 **We are accepting telephone appointments with the ability to email documents to [email protected] or upload documents via the secure app at https://taxestogo.com/App/Download/57681

New deadline for 2020 is July 15th. Does that mean what you think it means? Yes! It does. -Any taxpayer has the ability to file their tax return without a penalty for not filing on time (penalties apply only to taxpayers who owe taxes).... -Any taxpayer who owes taxes after filing has until July 15th to pay without penalties or interest. "Should I wait to file?" NO! By being proactive you are giving yourself more time to pay down the amount owed. For example, if you owe $1,000 and decide to pay $200 in April, $200 in May, $200 in June, and $200 in July. After July 15th you are only incurring penalties and interest for the $200 remaining vs the $1,000 you owed initially. Did you know your penalties and interest increase each month? You can get more info at irs.gov/taxtopics/tc653 (https://www.irs.gov/taxtopics/tc653) How do you file with a Stay Home Order? Call us to schedule a telephone appointment. You can email your docs to [email protected]. We have started utilizing new features to make things easier for our clients during these times of change. You can now sign your tax return with the touch of a finger. Further details can be provided during your appointment. Like things a little simpler? We can accept your docs via USPS mail as well. We are working hard to make things convenient and secure. Call us to find out more.
