Averages and scoring All juniors will re-establish averages their first week of bowling. Any scoring rules will be governed by the USBC and referred to the rulebook. Anything not governed by USBC or noted in the rulebook will be decided upon by the league coordinator and the league officers. Handicap will be based off of 90 % of 200. Teams will be awarded up to 4 points a week, one per game, and one for totals. In the event of a tie, the point will be split. In the event of a tie for first place following the second position round, the decision will go to total pin fall. The team with higher total pinfall will be considered the league champions in this scenario.
Management The management of this league will be in the hands of the board of directors, which will consist of the league officers. Any major decisions made by the league officers will be put to a vote in which the parents/ guardians/ supervisors of the youth will be able to decide between options decided on by the board, or add additional options. Every member of the league’s opinion will be recognized and considered. Any handling of money will be through check request, with the requirement of two league officer’s signatures and presence. NO MONEY WILL BE HANDLED BY THE LEAGUE COORDINATOR WITHOUT THE LEAGUE OFFICERS PRESENT.
Money Breakdown $ 14 one - time USBC sanction fees $ 15 per bowler per week $ 10 lineage/ $ 5 prize fund... Absences: For weeks the youth bowlers are absent $ 10 lineage will be waived. The $ 5 prize fund must still be paid as it is a guaranteed league. After 16 weeks: $ 160 lineage per bowler/ $ 80 prize fund per bowler League Totals * $ 2240 lineage */ $ 1120 prize fund * * These totals are based on 14 bowlers. These totals are only considered accurate it EVERY bowler is current on payments after 16 weeks. Totals may not be accurately reflected throughout the season based on shortage or overage from bowlers. No compensation is given to any officer, coordinator, or organizer associated through the league. Totals may differ from posted totals based on the possibility of donations for awards.
Awards and scholarships All USBC awards and honor scores will be recorded by Kyle Condis (the league coordinator) granted he is available to do so any given week. In the event he is not available, he will elect a substitute to record awards and honor scores for the week. Scholarships will be awarded to the youth bowler’s account at the end of the season from the prize funds In - house awards will be awarded at both position rounds.
