It’s always good to understand why your groomers prices are what they are.

We all know how wrong this is, but we all really need a laugh right now!

SHOP SAFETY PROCEDURES First and foremost, if you are not well in ANY WAY, your appointment will be rescheduled as soon as you are well again. This includes common colds or the flu, not just symptoms of Covid 19. PLEASE, consider our health and our family’s health over your pets grooming. We will require that all clients wear a mask at drop off and pick up. NO EXCEPTIONS. To abide by social distancing guidelines, we will have you place your pet in the kennel in our lobby.... Please remove the collar and/or harness, and leash, and put the lead on your dog as it will be put directly into the tub for their bath. If your dog does not walk well on a leash, you can bring them in a carrier/kennel that we can carry in. The California Professional Pet Groomers Association has published guidelines for us to follow. Those include minimizing the number of animals in the salon at one time. As you know, we tend to work in shifts with several dogs in and in different stages of the grooming process. That leaves most dogs here about 2-4 hours. With the new guidelines, the dogs will be done start to finish as soon as they arrive. Most small dogs take about 2 hrs of hands on time. This will change your normal drop off and pick up times. We ask that there only be one customer in the lobby at a time, if you must enter the shop. It will also require that you be ON TIME for pick ups AND drop offs so we can keep to the schedule for the next dog coming in. We are hopeful it will go smoothly and that we are accurate in the time we allot ourselves for each dog. It may take some trial and error. Please be patient as we figure it all out. In order to run smoothly and efficiently, we are no longer able to accept dogs in that are more than 15 minutes late, as it will cause us to be late for the remaining days appointments. We will need to reschedule, and that appointment will be charged for the service booked. We will also have to charge for any No show/No Call appointments (the amount of service booked) before we will book the next appointment. We also want you to know that your health is just as important to us as ours. We will be wearing a mask at all times. We will thoroughly wash our hands prior to coming out for drop off and pick up. All collars and leashes when removed for the bath will be misted with disinfectant. There are differing ideas of how long the viral droplets can stay on fabric. It is probably being over cautious, but we would rather be too careful than not careful enough. We will change our smocks after each dog. We will be disinfecting the door knobs and anything else we touch throughout the day. Due to the nature of these new policies, we have had to raise our prices to ensure that we can keep our doors open to continue to service you and your pets!
