As many approach the last part of Summer, there is a yearning for relaxation and expansion even during these social distancing times. Though the usual Summers of camp outs, travel and parties did not occur for many of us, we still have that yearning to feel the Sun's expansive warmth, to feel social, joyful and connect with others. It's been a bit hard to do through Zoom and phone as many of us need to unplug from devices after work and give that a rest to recharge ourselves.... Some ways to get needs met is to honor what is bubbling up under the service and find a way to fulfill them even if just on a smaller scale. I love camping, nature, walks and singing! I may not have not been able to go to Sedona this year and been with my community in person but I have had day trips in the mountains, gone on daily nature walks and sung online! Keeping connected to the season keeps us whole and balanced. Though there has been a shutdown this year from the usual, we still must fulfill our human needs to keep us thriving, as small as that may be. See more

Happy Friday! How was your week? Was it inspiring ? Some things cannot be controlled such as current conditions in the world but controlling how we can respond to outside circumstances is something we can learn to improve upon and even master.
