Congratulations to recent Harvard Law School graduate Melissa Mikail! Melissa worked at Albrektson & Shumate throughout high school and college when she left to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney herself. Way to go, Melissa!

Jennifer Herrera-Bousquet, our dare-devil receptionist, had a once-in-a-lifetime experience while parasailing with her Dad, Walter Herrera, off Dana Point. It seemed that a pod of orcas, formerly known as killer whales, were visiting the southland--something they rarely do--and Jennifer and her dad had the joy (and thrill) of watching them from their high perch as the orcas bounded along below. Wow--we're all kinda jealous of Jennifer right now . . .
