Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, administrative delays in the processing of #OPT applications are causing International students to lose their legal status and potential job offers. Many of them address the issue using #f1optlockboxdelay and #StudentOPTVisaDelay on Twitter. A petition started with one group of #international #students reporting a huge delay at Texas's Dallas #Lockbox. ... The petition states it will soon lead to a loss and shortage of international talents, damaging #American #competitiveness. Students are still in need of answers and call on U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and NAFSA Association of International Educators to help this matter. Some of them are reaching out to broadcasting networks like CNN to shed light on this ongoing issue. They are hoping for #Biden's administration to take action.
