Uh oh, time to toss your Tyson chicken. Not worth it, especially for pregnant women! https://www.fsis.usda.gov//tyson-foods-inc.-recalls-ready-

A good read, for sure! How do we encourage the government to change their agricultural subsidies to support fruits and vegetables for humans instead of corn and soy for cows?

Ok, I admit it. I'm addicted to sparkling water. And before you get all judgy, remember that it's the phosphoric acid (in cola) that was proven to reduce bone mass. The carbonic acid (in sparkling water) was not linked to any negative health consequences. https://connect.uclahealth.org//ask-the-doctors-is-sparkl/

Fantastic morning read from the New Yorker. Take away message? Sweetness affects metabolism in and of itself. So when the scientists who are working to redesign sugar admit that the ultimate goal is to gradually lower sugar levels and retrain our palates, shouldn’t we question that goal? Shouldn’t we strive to cleanse our palates and not need as much of that sweet flavor? I know, I know. Easier said than done.

I keep meaning to post pre and post photos but somehow the food gets eaten before I remember! Last night’s Asian lettuce cups is a perfect example of sneaking extra veg into a dish. No complaints from the kids, either!
